How to reach us

Every message and every fraud report is read by a person. For anything involving money you have already lost, the case review form is the fastest route, because it captures the details we would otherwise have to write back and ask for.

Email — support@recoverfunds.ca, for general enquiries, media requests, corrections and partnership questions.

Office — 60 Atlantic Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M6K 1X9, Canada.

Corrections — if something on this site is wrong, the corrections policy explains what to send so we can check and fix it quickly. That applies to anyone, not just the subject of a page.

If you are the company named on a page, or you are being impersonated by an operation we have written about, read the corrections policy first — for impersonation cases, making the page state clearly that your firm is unconnected is usually more useful to you than removal, because that page is what people find when they search the name the fraudster is using.

Other Canadian fraud reporting routes

We are not a government body, and for some situations another organisation is the right first call.

  • Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre — antifraudcentre.ca, 1-888-495-8501. The national intake point for fraud reporting.
  • Your provincial securities regulator — the body that can act on an unregistered platform soliciting residents of your province. Contacts for every province are here.
  • Your local police — for a file number, which you will need if a civil claim or insurance question follows.
  • Your bank, card issuer or crypto exchange — first, and the same day, because reversal options are time-limited.

What we will never ask you for

We will never ask for your crypto wallet recovery phrase, your private keys, remote access to your device, or a payment of any kind. Nobody legitimate will. A request for any of those is the clearest signal you are talking to a second scam.
