Overview: Is Nexora Groups Legit?

Two Canadian securities regulators have now named Nexora Groups, six weeks apart, and the second warning covers a domain the first one did not. On July 14, 2026 the British Columbia Securities Commission added the firm to its Investment Caution List over nexoragroups.org, confirming it is not registered with the commission and telling British Columbians to proceed with extreme caution before handing over money. On August 25, 2026 the Ontario Securities Commission issued its own warning, carried into the Canadian Securities Administrators investor alert database on August 27, and that one names two addresses: nexoragroups.net as well as nexoragroups.org.

That sequence is the single most useful fact on this page, so it is worth stating what it means rather than leaving it as a date. A firm listed by one provincial regulator has been noticed. A firm listed by a second regulator in a different province, weeks later, on a wider set of addresses, is still operating and has widened its reach in the interval. It did not quietly close after being named in British Columbia. It kept soliciting, and by late August it was doing so on a second domain and in Canada's largest securities market.

Nexora Groups is presented as an online investment and trading operation. Neither commission has published who owns it, where it is run from, or what its representatives say on a call, and this article will not invent any of that. What both have established is the thing that actually determines your legal position: the firm holds no registration to trade in securities in either province. Registration is the permission that has to exist before anyone may lawfully solicit a Canadian resident to buy or sell an investment, and it is what every subsequent protection hangs off.

If you reached this page because a withdrawal from nexoragroups.net or nexoragroups.org has not arrived, or because support has gone quiet, or because you have just been told about a fee you were never told about at the start, then the regulators reached the same conclusion you are reaching. The Canadian Securities Administrators registry now carries two separate Nexora Groups entries from two different commissions, which is not something that happens to a firm with a clean explanation.

A further point about the name. Alerts issued in the same period name entities with superficially similar names, including a separate BCSC listing for Luminxcap and an older listing for Nexon Groups Limited. These are different entities. This warning attaches to Nexora Groups at nexoragroups.net and nexoragroups.org and to no other business.

How Nexora Groups Operates

The regulatory timeline, in order: The BCSC entry came first, dated July 14, 2026, and it identified a single web address, nexoragroups.org. The Canadian Securities Administrators relayed it into the national alert database the following day. Six weeks later the OSC published its own warning, dated August 25, 2026 and relayed on August 27, and the Ontario finding covers nexoragroups.org together with a second address, nexoragroups.net. Two provinces, two commissions, one additional domain. Everything else on this page follows from that record, and where the record is silent this article says so.

The second address is the detail that matters: A single domain is a website. Two near identical domains under the same name are infrastructure, and operations build it deliberately for reasons that are worth understanding if you are still in contact with anyone from Nexora Groups. A mirrored address survives a takedown, so the moment a registrar or host acts on the first one the traffic simply moves. It separates audiences, so the address given to a new prospect need not be the one a regulator has already published. It splits the search results, so that a person checking the name may land on a page about the address they were not sent to and conclude the warning does not apply to them. Most usefully for the operator, it lets clients be moved to a fresh address and told the platform has been upgraded, which explains away a lost login and buys weeks of continued deposits.

What being unregistered in both provinces actually costs you: People hear "not registered" and file it under paperwork. Consider instead what a registered dealer is compelled to do and an unregistered one is not. It must meet minimum capital requirements so it can absorb its own losses. Its representatives must pass proficiency examinations. It must keep client assets separate from the firm's own money, so that funds cannot simply be spent. It must know its client and assess whether a product is even suitable for that person. It must respond to complaints through a defined process, with an independent ombudsman above it and a regulator that can compel records. Client accounts at a member firm carry Canadian Investor Protection Fund coverage if the firm fails. None of that applies to Nexora Groups, in British Columbia or in Ontario, and none of it applied on the day the first deposit was made.

Where the money is and why nobody can tell you: With an unregistered platform there is no custodian, so there is no third party anywhere holding an asset in your name. The balance shown when you log in to nexoragroups.net is a number in a database controlled by the same people who are refusing your withdrawal. It is not evidence of a holding and it cannot be reconciled against anything. This is also why the receiving account details on your own bank statement matter far more than any statement the platform produced. The name on the receiving account, the country it sits in, and whether it matches the business name on the website are facts that exist outside the operator's control.

The point where clients discover the problem: Deposits are frictionless by design. The friction is engineered to appear at the exit, and it typically arrives as a condition nobody mentioned at the outset. A processing or release charge. A tax said to be owed before funds can leave. A verification or anti money laundering fee. An account tier that has to be reached before a withdrawal is permitted, which requires depositing more rather than less. Each of these has the same structure: to get money out, first put money in. No registered Canadian dealer works this way, and the demand itself is the confirmation. If Nexora Groups has asked you for a payment in order to release your own balance, do not send it. Record the request instead, in whatever channel it arrived, because it is unusually good evidence.

Act while the addresses still resolve: Both nexoragroups.org and nexoragroups.net have now been named in public regulator alerts, and domains in that position are commonly abandoned or taken down within weeks. Capture what you can see today rather than what you will be able to describe later.

Red Flags in Nexora Groups Reviews

  • BCSC Investment Caution List entry published July 14, 2026 covering nexoragroups.org, not registered with the British Columbia Securities Commission
  • OSC investor warning dated August 25, 2026 and relayed by the CSA on August 27, 2026, not registered in Ontario to trade in securities
  • Named by two provincial regulators six weeks apart, showing the operation continued soliciting after the first public warning
  • A second domain, nexoragroups.net, appears in the Ontario warning but not in the earlier British Columbia listing
  • Two separate Nexora Groups entries now sit in the Canadian Securities Administrators investor alert database
  • No named owners, no verifiable head office and no identified principals published by either commission
  • No listing for the firm or its representatives on the national registration search at aretheyregistered.ca
  • Any demand for a release fee, withdrawal tax or verification charge before funds will be paid out
  • Requests to move to a new web address on the basis that the platform has been upgraded or migrated
  • Account balances that exist only inside the platform and cannot be confirmed against any independent custodian

What to Do if You Were Targeted by Nexora Groups

  1. Report your case to RecoverFunds.ca at recoverfunds.ca/report-crypto-fraud-canada. The case review is free and there is no upfront fee at any stage. Because Nexora Groups has been named in two provinces, the first thing the review sorts out is which regulator your complaint actually belongs with, which depends on where you live rather than where the platform claims to be. The second is what your payment method still allows. Card deposits carry a chargeback window measured in days. Wires and Interac e Transfers occasionally admit a recall if the receiving account has not been drained. Crypto transfers are final, which moves the priority to flagging the destination wallet and filing quickly. You will get a straight answer about what is realistically recoverable, including when the answer is that very little is.
  1. Contact the regulator for your province directly. If you are in Ontario, the Ontario Securities Commission issued the August 2026 warning and takes reports on 1-877-785-1555. If you are in British Columbia, the British Columbia Securities Commission listed the firm in July 2026 and can be reached on 604-899-6854 or toll free on 1-800-373-6393. Tell them which of the two domains you were dealing with, since that detail distinguishes the two warnings and helps them map how far the operation has spread.
  1. Call your bank, card issuer or exchange today and say the word fraud. Fraud teams and general customer service have different powers, and describing this as a disappointing investment routes you to the team that cannot help. Ask for the fraud department by name. Give them the exact receiving account details from your statement, not the name on the website, because those rarely match and the mismatch is itself useful to them.
  1. Save everything from both addresses before they go dark. Capture the account dashboard from whichever of nexoragroups.net or nexoragroups.org you used, including the displayed balance and any trade history, along with the onboarding emails, the fee terms, the deposit instructions and the full message thread with your account handler. Note the date you were first contacted and the channel it came through. If you were moved from one domain to the other at any point, record when and what reason you were given, because that migration is specific to this operation and is worth documenting.
  1. Do not pay anyone who offers to recover the money for a fee. People who have lost funds to a platform named in a public alert are contacted again, sometimes within days, by callers offering retrieval in exchange for an advance payment, a retainer, a tax or a release charge. It is a second fraud that targets the same list of victims, and it succeeds because the approach arrives exactly when someone is desperate enough to try anything. RecoverFunds.ca is free to report to and charges nothing up front. Anyone demanding payment before they will lift a finger has told you what they are.
  2. Report to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and to the securities regulator for your province, the full process, with contact details for every province, is here

Nexora Groups: Frequently Asked Questions

Is Nexora Groups a scam?

Two Canadian regulators have publicly warned about it. The BCSC added Nexora Groups to its Investment Caution List on July 14, 2026 over nexoragroups.org, and the OSC issued a warning dated August 25, 2026 stating the firm is not registered in Ontario to trade in securities, naming both nexoragroups.net and nexoragroups.org. It has no legal permission to solicit investors in either province.

Can RecoverFunds.ca help me recover money from Nexora Groups?

We offer a free case review with no upfront fee. Because this firm has been named in both Ontario and British Columbia, the review works out which regulator your report belongs with, assesses what is realistically recoverable given how you paid, and tells you what to file first. We do not promise recovery and nobody honestly can for an operation whose owners have not been identified.

Why are there two different websites, nexoragroups.net and nexoragroups.org?

The BCSC listing in July 2026 named only nexoragroups.org. The OSC warning six weeks later named both. Running mirrored addresses lets an operation survive a takedown of one domain, split search results so warnings are harder to find, and move existing clients to a fresh address while calling it a platform upgrade.

I was told to move my Nexora Groups account to a new website. Is that normal?

No. A registered dealer does not ask clients to migrate to a different domain to keep trading. Where an operation has been publicly named, moving clients to a second address serves the operator rather than the client, because it puts distance between your account and the published warning. Record the instruction and the reason you were given.

Is Nexora Groups connected to Nexon Groups Limited or Luminxcap?

There is no published connection. The BCSC has listed entities with superficially similar names, including Nexon Groups Limited in 2023 and Luminxcap in August 2026, but each listing stands on its own and no regulator has linked them. Similar naming is common across unregistered platforms and is not by itself evidence of shared ownership.

Nexora Groups says I owe tax before my withdrawal is released. Is that real?

No. Canadian tax on investment income is assessed by the Canada Revenue Agency through your return, never collected by a trading platform as a precondition for releasing funds. A withdrawal tax, a release fee or a verification charge demanded at the exit is a device to extract a further payment. Stop paying and keep the demand in writing.

Does a BCSC caution listing mean the same thing as an OSC warning?

Both mean the firm is not registered in that province, but they come from different commissions with authority over different residents. The BCSC listing protects British Columbians and the OSC warning covers Ontario. Being named by both is significant because it shows the operation kept soliciting Canadians after the first public warning was issued.

The Nexora Groups site still shows my balance. Does that mean the money is there?

No. On an unregistered platform there is no independent custodian holding anything in your name. The figure you see is a number in a database controlled by the people declining your withdrawal, and it cannot be reconciled against any third party. Your own bank or exchange records of what left your account are the reliable evidence.

Is Nexora Groups legit, and is it registered in Canada?

Registration is the check that settles this, and it is one you can run yourself in under a minute at aretheyregistered.ca. Nexora Groups was named in an investor warning from OSC on August 27, 2026. Certificates and licence numbers shown on a platform's own site are not evidence; the national register is.

Why is my Nexora Groups login not working?

A Nexora Groups login that stops working is worth treating as information rather than a glitch. Accounts on flagged platforms are frequently locked once the operator decides a client is no longer going to deposit, and domains disappear entirely when an operation moves on. Screenshot whatever you can still reach. Balances, transaction history, chat logs, all of it, before it becomes unreachable.

Are Nexora Groups reviews real?

Ratings-site reviews are among the easiest things to manufacture, and a platform under a regulatory warning has every reason to manufacture them. For Nexora Groups, weigh the OSC warning on August 27, 2026 above any star rating. Also be wary of reviews that appear immediately after a warning is published. A sudden burst of five-star reviews is a response to the warning, not evidence against it.

Can I get my money back from Nexora Groups?

We do not make recovery promises and you should be wary of anyone who does. What genuinely affects the outcome is speed and payment method: contacting your bank, card issuer or exchange on the same day is the step most likely to matter. Regulators can warn and enforce, but they are not a reimbursement scheme. Be especially careful of anyone who contacts you offering to recover funds from Nexora Groups for a fee paid in advance. That is the most common way people lose a second amount.

Is nexoragroups.net a safe website?

No. nexoragroups.net is named in connection with the OSC warning about Nexora Groups on August 27, 2026. Beyond the money, avoid installing anything it asks you to install and never grant remote access through tools like AnyDesk or TeamViewer to someone contacting you from it.

How do I report Nexora Groups in Canada?

Report to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, to your provincial securities regulator, and to your local police. Your bank or exchange comes first though, the same day, ahead of all of them. Report to the regulator for the province you live in rather than wherever Nexora Groups claimed to be based, because that is almost always fictional. Step by step, with every provincial contact, is here.
